This policy explains what YLO Player ("we") collects through YLO Player and its website. YLO Player is a media player. We do not provide channels, films or any other content.
We use your IP address for the moment needed to estimate your city for the weather on the home screen and to limit abuse. The lookup uses a database stored on our own server, so your address is not sent to a location company for this. Our server does not write IP addresses to its database or to its application logs. Our protection counters keep them in memory for up to about an hour, and weather lookups keep them in memory for up to 24 hours.
We do not record which channels or films you watch. Streams go directly between your TV and the server in your playlist, and they never pass through our server. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell your data.
We use this data to link your TV to your playlists, to run the trial and activation, to fix errors, to prevent abuse and to act on legal complaints.
We keep playlists until you delete them. We keep device and activation records while the device is in use, because they stop a trial from restarting. Reports are kept for as long as needed to handle the complaint.
Open your device page on our website and choose "Delete my data". This removes your playlists, your device details and your error reports straight away. We keep only the MAC address, the trial dates and the activation, so a trial cannot restart. To ask for more, write to [email protected].
The website and the app connect to our server over encrypted HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we will act promptly on any problem we find.
YLO Player is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The app includes a parental lock.
